Some Background
My name is Katherine, but most people call me Kath. I grew up in the Bay Area, I'm a Junior at Stanford University studying Environmental Policy and Communications, and I love sharks and whales. I'm the oldest of a family of four, and am lucky enough to have grown up by the beach and mountains and surrounded by the most wonderful friends in the world. ​

It's important to me not to always focus on what I want from life, but embrace what life asks me to do. I've always loved finding the beauty in the midst of chaos, and documenting what my eyes see and my mind thinks. I decided to make this website not just so people can get a better glimpse into my life, but so that when I'm older I can have an easily accessible snapshot from my teens into my twenties.
